Promos

This month we have been shooting a lot of contest winners!

400 Fan Contest/Drawing Winner - Krystal Bilbao

Here is one of my sneak peeks of Krystal, hanging out on location in Jersey City. Krystal and her family came on the scene like professionals, ready for costume changes, hair changes, and show changes all accomplished in a flash. She was a pleasure to work with and was a real ball of energy. This little dancer had a great time posing and being goofy despite the cloudy, rainy and sometimes unpredictable weather that day. I think the best part of the day (for both of us) was playing with her mom's umbrella on the train tracks. A little drizzle came down and Krystal just let herself shine through. "Singing in the Rain" came to mind as she spun the umbrella around and smiled while exploring a new piece of the local park. She was a wonderful subject.

500 Fan Contest/Drawing Winner - Renee Bauder

We also had the pleasure of working with the fabulous Renee Bauder recently, as our 500 Fan contest drawing winner. When I first notified Renee that she won this session, she was shocked and when we got her on location for her shoot she was still shocked!

Renee met up with us at a local park in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. We had a run road trip getting there and even visited some family after our shoot, so all in all, a good day. When my assistant, Ginnie, and I arrived on the scene, Renee was cautious and reserved. We had to do some serious giggle causing actions to get her to smile but after a little while we got her smiling. A couple of my favorite shots are below. Considering that she has not had her photos done in over a decade, Renee did remarkably well and after a little pose coaching (which made us all laugh) got into the swing of things.

We have been busy, busy, busy!

Aside from our contest winners, I have been working on editing a set from a Pennsylvania Farm in the Pocono Mountains. I captured a lot of images of horses, roosters, hens, and even farm dogs in the past few weeks. Also expect to see some images on science, the zoo, a theme park, and some goofy editing of a wedding session. We are also working on a new project called the Patriot Photo Project which will be an ongoing process - more information to come!

Thanks for reading friends and fans - happy snapping. :)
