Running with Lenses...

Hello again friends and fans. I have entitled this particular entry "Running with Lenses" because I am still trying to catch up! So, here is a quick run down of the beginning of 2014 until now (Hopefully, this will help us in staying current in 2015!!!).

2014 was a busy year, with us shooting more than double our number of weddings from 2013. We also did 2 marathon sessions and got lots of cool shots of kids from our VIP Clients. We were welcomed back into many clients homes for repeat sessions! We got to do our first cake smash! We had several maternity sessions as well as engagements, and we had a few awesome things happen in our personal lives too! In 2014, I welcomed my son, Raphael, to the world. In 2014, my lovely assistant, Virginia, who many of you may know got engaged and married.

I have to say, with all of this going on, I have really come to embrace our need to specialize. We took so many images, traveled to so many events, shot so many diverse subjects, that I started to feel like a machine and not an artist. I was reminded of my passion and artistic ability recently when shooting a free modeling client - yes. someone who was not even paying me - about how I shoot my best work.

This year, we are hoping for a busy year yet again, working specifically on weddings, engagements, bridal models, boudoir, and our new specialty - I do, Take 2! We will be booking a limited number of sessions each month and will be returning to our boutique way of doing business. Yes, I will be doing it ALL.
