The DiScala Maternity Shoot

This week, Rose Marie Cunningham Photography was back at it again, working on a maternity shoot with one of the cutest couples I have shot to date! I had to stop myself from smushing their cheeks. :) The DiScala family is now growing and soon Alissa and Michael will be welcoming a new Yankee fan to their mix. I really enjoyed shooting for them, and making them relax in front of the camera. Once we got them giggling - much thanks to my assistant Virginia - it was a breeze. They love each other so much and have such ease about them, making my job easy.

I have to say, that I absolutely love doing maternity shoots because everyone is always so excited! It's like taking pictures on Christmas Eve..... surprises are always in store. It always helps when you have such an easy going mommy-to-be like Alissa. She was a trooper getting up and down from the floor, the couch, the porch and more. She even offered to go to a park in the cold! (I would never do that to a pregnant lady! Haha). Mike was a pretty cool dude too, flipping the tables on us and focusing on making us comfortable!

All in all, another great shoot in the books and a happy couple in my client files. Looking forward to photographing them again later this year when Baby DiScala joins them!
